A former Friday\'s/Planet Tan exec\'s taken over the space that oh-so-briefly housed Lazare in West Village, adding DJ/karaoke nights, more TVs for sports watching, cheaper drinks ($4/$5 on a dozen drafts; $7 bottomless mimosas/Bellinis during brunch), a simplified menu of standbys (wings, \'wiches, fish \'n\' chips) and should-be-standbys (fish tacos, bison burger, filet mignon, flatbread pizzas), and, soon, stripper poles on the bar -- hopefully to be used by women who frequent Planet Tan more than Friday\'s. |
