Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber allegedly tweeted his enemy's phone number to his 4.5 million followers in a bizarre case of cyberbullying revenge.
The 16-year-old singer posted a tweet on Saturday night that invited his dedicated fans to call "him" --- but he actually publicized a Detroit teen's phone number. The tweet was quickly deleted but not before sites like Gawker got screenshots of the tweet and Justin's follower's eagerly retweeted the message.
So, why is the "Baby" superstar tweeting a random teen's phone number? The digits Justin tweeted reportedly belong to Kevin Kristopik, a young man who allegedly hacked the Twitter account of Justin's childhood friend, Ryan Butler, and found the pint-sized singer's phone number. Kevin also tweeted a confirmation that the number Justin tweeted was indeed his, including a video of his phone blowing up with texts and phone calls from misinformed Justin fans. The man known as the accused "Craigslist Killer" committed suicide at the Nashua Street Jail in Boston, according to jail authorities.
Philip Markoff, a former medical student who was accused of killing a masseuse he met through the Web site Craigslist, was found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead at about 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
The death is still being investigated, but Markoff was alone in his cell and the evidence indicates he took his own life, according to a statement released by Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis and Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley.
Markoff, 24, was found suffocated with a plastic bag over his head, Boston.com reports.
In June, Markoff pleaded not guilty to charges that in April he lured masseuse Julissa Brisman, 25, to a Boston hotel, then bound her, beat her and fatally shot her
All because Paris Hilton decided to wear a competitor's hair extensions. Since becoming the spokesperson for Hairtech International's Dream Catcher hair extension line back in 2007, a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles claims the heiress has received $3.5 million from the company. BUT the company claims Paris did not hold her end up when she chose to wear someone else's hair extensions.
But according to the docs, Paris didn't satisfy her end of the bargain -- when Hairtech claims she was "seen in magazines and on television not wearing [their] hair extensions and was in fact wearing competitors' hair extension products."
In fact, Hairtech [claims that when Paris was in jail in 2007, she missed] a very important "launch party" for the hair extensions. In the suit, Hairtech claims that "more than 600 hair extension professionals" were scheduled to attend at the party -- but because Paris couldn't make it, they lost opportunities which should have resulted in $6.6 million in revenue.
With his heartthrob status, Zac Efron has girls vying for his attention. Unfortunately for the ladies, he's just not interested.
"I think a lot of guys would enjoy that," the actor, 22, tells September's Details about dating around Hollywood. "But I'm not really like that."
Still, the idea has crossed his mind – but he says he's never acted on it because of a steady five-year (and counting) relationship with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
"Believe me, I rack my brain thinking, 'Why am I not out there playing the field?' ... But it's not in my heart," says the Charlie St. Cloud star.
His relationship with Hudgens – who said they had an instant connection when they first met – is "exactly how it should be. It's real," he says.
